BAMBOO MOSQUITO NETS

Bamboo is a fast growing plant, between 5 and 20 cm. up to date. Some species can grow up to 90 or 100 cm. every day. When harvesting, only the stem is harvested, leaving the root intact, so that its rapid growth is favored. It is one of the plants that captures the most CO2 on the planet and does not need water or pesticides for its growth.

For this reason, mosquito nets made of bamboo fiber are ecological, biodegradable and sustainable, winning over cotton, which does require large amounts of water to make fabrics and pesticides to favor their development given the current demand.

Bamboo mosquito nets ventilate very well and are excellent heat regulators so that they are cool in summer and warm in winter. They can absorb up to 60% more moisture than cotton so that the fabric stays dry and cool for longer. Another main characteristic of bamboo fiber is that its structure is rounder and smoother which offers less resistance and creates softer threads so that it feels softer to the touch and does not wrinkle.

Their effectiveness in protecting mosquitoes has been proven and, as regards their decorative component, they are very elegant and cozy once installed.
